I have 2 of these, the 308 (standard), and the 308BLKTS (black w/tiger stripe blade). Both have perfect detents and open fast and easy, smooth as butter. The lock-up on both is pretty perfect for a frame-lock, about 50% with no lock-stick.

I wish I was rich. Lol. So I could put the knife to is limit.But that test is something that I have to do before. I did it with my 303. When working out of town. Now I carry a multitool so I don't have to use my knife blade. But the test is something of reference for people that want to use the knife a little harder than most. Most of the videos are just theoretical and not use at all. I tried to do something different. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Great video. I carry the older ZT350 at work and it is about the same size. I actually try to abuse it at work lol, just like you did in this video. I have other ZT knives but I keep them as collectables and never use them. But your video here on the ZT 308 make me want to get one later this year.

🤣😂 I do the same thing at work, I find any task to use and abuse it. My co-worker one time told me I didn't have to cut/pry an oxygen outlet off the wall and let the gas pressure (55-60 psi) push the outlet out for me but I must cut and pry (￣︶￣)

I picked one of these up and really wanted to like it. The size and shape are amazing. Like you said about opening, I opened it a few times and it started to feel like a chore. For almost 300$ it shouldn't be a PITA to open the blade. Also, the liner lock up was terrible, barely engaged. If they took this design, changed over from a bearing to washers, added a thumb disc, slimmed the width down slightly, added a deeper carry style clip, and sold it at the 200ish price point, they'd have a real winner.

That’s a good point about the pocket clip being too narrow for work pants. I haven’t seen anyone mention that before. I have a few pants like that and certain knives I don’t carry when I where those. Awesome video👍🏼

Just got a 308blkts from my wife as a birthday present. Which I have to give her credit, I had nothing to do with picking out. This is one of the only videos I've found where anyone was actually using the 308 for anything resembling hard use they kind of seem to be babied in every other review table top only. It's nice to see a $300 knife is capable of doing something other than opening Amazon boxes... It seems a little big to EDC but I will definitely try and carry it often.

Hey man. I just bought this knife today, and yes it is hard as fuck to open. Also, I bought a used ZT 0804CF and it was very hard to open for about a month. Also, I don't like how the pocket clip pokes right into my hand. Thanks for the video my Bladed Brother 👍 ⚔️ ✝️ 🇺🇲
