Lovely. I’ve been a second hand fan for decades. Just makes money sense and now with us edging toward less waste, it makes sense in that way too. I unfortunately don’t have a bulk shop in my corner of the woods. So nice that you do.

If you have a bit of room in your freezer you can freeze your kitchen scraps in there :) we found that helpful because our apartment got so hot

This is great. Our kitchen is a similar size (slightly bigger), but I have to cook and store food for five of us, so it’s a bit of a challenge! Love your ideas and feeling very inspired now to go through my kitchen and make sure everything’s in the most efficient spot!

Hi :) My Mom recently told me that banana peel can be used as compost for watering home plants. I took a jar, put peels in it ad water and letf in dark place for 12h,now I add a little bit od a mixture and my plants are greener - lots od potasium iż in that peel :)

Ooh, great tip, I need to try that! I use mine for polishing silver to get off tarnish (buff with a cloth after), and for cleaning dust off my green plants leaves.

You can also make a long time fertilizer with banana peels. Just dry it out completely in the oven and pulverise it with your prefered method, I'm just using a mortar. It's the perfect thing to mix in with the soil in larger pots when re-potting. The nutrients will start to release about 3 months later, which is usually when the added nutrients to the soil are getting depleted.

Love your videos very inspiring and fun. Had a random thought about your banana peels...I have a stag horn fern that I “feed” with banana peels by tucking them into its folds = healthy plant + a way for me to deal with the peels. Thanks for your videos!

Huh that's scary and interesting at the same time lol. How long does it take for it to "eat" it?

Why is it common to have the shower in the kitchen instead of where the toilet is?
