Wow I can't believe how bad the music is on the arcade version the Megadrive soundtrack is spectacular but this had my ears bleeding especially Stage 2

Where did you get the rom? I can only find the rom version where it is 1 player at a time that changes turn on death

If you're using a recent version of MAME, it should just be zerowing.zip that has 2p support. That one is also called "Zero Wing (2p Set)", unlike zerowing1.zip, which is (1p Set). zerowingw.zip is also supposed to be 2p, but I never tried that one.

@@arronmunroe”zerowingw” is the Williams-licensed version, and also has simultaneous two player mode.
