CTE cannot compensatefor throw as throw depends on the speed of the CB. However how fast one shots doesn't change the final angle and trajectory towards the OB after a sweep. If you shoot the CB with high speed, there is very little to not throw. If you shoot the ball with low speed, the throw is maximized. It could be that CTE automatically corrects for slow CB action throw as you say, but then this would also mean that is you slam the ball in, you need to hit manually thinner to correct for the erroneous throw corrections by CTE.

Your videos are great. I have a couple of questions. The perception part and the aiming make complete sense. What are you doing exactly for an inside sweep? Same question for outside. Also, at one point in one of your videos you say you are thickening or thinning a cut with a sweep or did I mishear what you said?

Inside thins the shot while outside thickens... What am i doing?... From the center cueball (not cte) i bend inside or outside that center... You can call it sweeps.

Marc Saldana if you are cutting a ball to the left then the left side of the cue ball is your inside ( inside sweep thins the cut). Let’s say you have a slight cut shot to your left you would have to use an outside sweep to straighten up the shot meaning that your alignment would now come from the right side of the cue ball(outside). Your “inside” is always the side of the ball closest to the pocket you’re shooting the ball to regardless if it’s left or right. Inside and outside sweeps only apply to 15 and 45 degree perceptions. 30 degree perceptions are always inside sweep. Hope that helps my friend.

Sir do you have the DVD of CTE Pro One? I'm using CET Pro one based from what I've watch from Stan Shuffett's videos in KZbin but I'm still not consistent in pocketing the balls. I'm not sure if my issue is with the perception or with the visual sweeps. Appreciate your help. Fellow Filipino here kabayan! Thanks

Yes, i do have both DVD1 and the final Chapter of CTE Pro one. You need more practice with cte and one must tell you the exact details of CTE. Anyways, Stan Shuffett will release a book by this year detailing every nits of CTE with free online videos. lets wait for that date. Kabayan, di pa ako allowed mag release ng detail about CTE eh. ipapaliwanag naman yan ni stan sa mga upcoming videos nia. kapag formally na ako na endorse ni stan as instructor dito sa pinas, saka ako tatanggap ng sessions

Not exactly what happens. Your cue stick pointing over the cue at the object ball... showing the contact point is wrong. Respectfully. The cue ball doesn’t strike the object ball at that exact spot on cut shots like you have set up. You should use a marker and color a dot on the object ball where you are pointing at with your cue....Then slowly push the cue ball toward the object ball with your hand until the balls touch. You will see the true contact point. On these cut shots the object ball is struck by the corner of the cue ball... not the center of the cue ball that you kept pointing down the line. Also... when you cut extremely thin...I wouldn’t even aim my cue stick at the object ball ... rather in the air besides the ball.... I can tell you know this already but, explaining this is tricky. Have fun with pool people. Later.

These guys seem to be making videos to impress their pro friends, not for the amateurs. All these guys come just flaunting big terms and really teaching nothing!

That's just your opinion..... Not impressing anybody though, just having fun.... Let's wait till stan shuffet releases his truth series for free..... You can reach out to an cte instructor in your area so he/she can teach you cte.
