The Re-Estize Kingdom and the Baharuth Empire has been compared throughout the novels. The pragmatism of the way the Empire functioned ultimately decided the difference in the two powers' fate. The Empire was literally setup by Ainz through the events of the Worker's Invasion Arc. When caught Jircniv rendered "Justice" by executing Count Femel, the pawn he used. The Empire immediately recognized they were out of their league and surrendered. The Kingdom, despite losing almost 200,000 men in their first encounter, protected Phillip, a low level Baron who ACTUALLY robbed Nazarick's grain caravan of his own accord, instead of dispensing justice. That's why one power survived and the other one didn't.

This guy's world building and world creation are incredible. Among the best in anime if not the best. It's just a shame not all of it is shown or noticed. I can still nitpick, but it's miles ahead of the average. And it's on the top with other anime giants and heavy weights in other regards as well. As far as I know, everything has a reason.

That barrier was turned on during the fight against nigun of sunlight scripture thats why ainz said his nation was watching him from afar using deviation magic, the one who watched them died because of the explosion of that barrier.

I gotta say the Re-eztize or whatever Kingdom really looks like it has a professional standing army since they all have the same equipment and armor, what the writer or anime should have done to represent this better was to have them be farmers and stuff with varying degrees of equipment. It's hard to believe they all somehow purchased these arms and armour themselves if they were only "a levy"

@@rickbergolla4055 in the novel not even half of them had proper weapons, sadly the last season was made hastily so to save precious time they decided to use the same model, the sad part was that it was animated in such a horrible way the last part of the season was completely ruined by it. I was really looking forward for the SPLAT.

Even in the first season, they thought it was an attack by the theocracy because of the ammount of mages and magic tech they were deploying, even though they had uniforms of the empire.
