On the other hand, a date once in a while would be a nice adulting thing to do. Maybe a movie not meant for children or a concert! Florida has some really cool event centers! Ruth Eckerd Hall has a fantastic summer lineup…. 😊 🥰 There are professional babysitting services (not just neighbor kids) who are screened and background-checked.

Saylor is incredibly smart. Can tell she’s is surrounded with love and her parents put them first. Other “families” seem to take a lot of distant vacations that do not include the kids. Kids are like accessories acting like “ look at us we are great parents” but then off to vacations leaving the kids. Kids are first with Seth and Jaylene.

I wouldn’t ask, but then you said you’re an open book, so I wonder if you two would ever talk about: - your fertility journey/pregnancy - the time you were separated and Zeth was in a house with roommates (I remember you showing us in an old video). I wonder if those could be helpful to people going through a hard time, but I also recognize that would be very private things to talk about that you may not want to share on KZbin! Love what you do, thanks for sharing your lives with us and for all the inspiration!

*questions for both zeth and jaylin:* -what were your goals/dreams as a child and how are they different or similar to the goals/dreams you have now? did you achieve any of them? -if you didn’t have social media careers, what would you be doing instead? (pretending whatever you choose pays the same amount you make now) -have you always wanted children, or was it something you decided as adults? (even if it wasn’t planned) *questions for saylor:* -if you could have any superpower, what would it be and why? -if you could have any animal in the entire world as a pet, what would it be? (if it’s a wild animal pretend they are super nice and not dangerous) if saylor was wondering, my answer to her first question is the ability to pause time so i could sleep more and never be late to anything! my answer to her second question is a leopard because they are so pretty and i love cats 🥰🐆

Always interesting to see ways to incorporate healthy eating/living into a busy schedule w kids. Interviews! You guys interview saylor, she interviews you and Jaylin..favorite things, likes/dislikes. I just really appreciate your family. You two appear to be really great parents (mind you, we dont get to see you pinching your kids or running out of patience). I am blessed by the perspective you two bring. If I were to come up with a list of topics I might say: 1. Parenting challenges - be honest and specific ... not "someone call child protective services" honest - but what haven't you figured out yet? 2. Maybe you could flip the script and while one of you is doing the parent thing the other could go do something just for them and intercut the footage of some chill time (even if that means going to a spot and reading) 3. Parenting Hacks - stuff you struggled with as young parents that you now have caught a groove on and the trick made all of the difference. 4. Kid interviews: man-on-the-street style - see if strangers would answer silly interview questions for Saylor 5. Have Saylor interview the two of you over the course of a week and edit together her questions and your answers 6. More about you: When you are not YouTubing it up, what are you all about? How do you keep your mind busy (designing, inventing, reading, entertainment, writing, goals, passions, etc.) 7. Early Couple mistakes: Stuff you didn't do well, that you have cracked now and figured out as a couple 8. Early Couple victories: Make a list of stuff each other does well and have Saylor moderate the discussion while you two take turns reading your list ideas to each other (again - listeners will get a lot out of this I think) 9. Couple Goals: What are some short-term and long-term goals you have as a couple (growing a business, more kids, buying a home, etc) 10. What do you two want out of the KZbin channel?

If you haven’t bought the house you’re in - live in the Winter Park area of Orlando. It is where I grew up. Very safe, very nice houses - lots to do. PLUS its near the BEST hospital for kids, the Arnold Palmer Disney Pavillion. If your kids ever get sick or hurt.. go there. My oldest had her first major seizure on Christmas Eve and had to spend Christmas in the hospital (she was 5) and they had Santa come and visit and they brought her a bunch of age appropriate gifts. It was always the best experience under the worst circumstances. But yes - Winter Park in the Orlando side. Near Park Ave, Rollins.

There is a place called Tin and Taco, it is INCREDIBLE! There are a few locations in Orlando and in other areas surrounding. Also, I live in a smaller town called DeLand. We have a big Mexican community here, so there are little taco trucks parked on the side of the roads in places here and the authentic tacos are 🤌🏻 chefs kiss! I understand the idea of missing the food options in Cali bc I have spent a lot of time there. But Orlando and Tampa are opening lots of good food spots popping up!

I would love to know more about your parental styles and how you manage to get in the same boat. I loved that zeth asked jaylin if he should encourage saylor or not. It showed so so beautifully how you guys communicate! Would love more insight about this! And: How did you meet? Why did you have kids at this early age and how did it change your life? How is your relationship with each other how do you manage to stay a couple? Any wedding planning soon? How to overcome relationship crisis? And please please more knowledge videos about food in America! Crime rate! The books jaylin reads! And so so much more! ❤

As you make friends with other couples, make sure to ask them about babysitters they trust and that the kids like. Dating is important!

If you ever do a UK trip, you would all love Hay-On-Wye in Wales. It’s a town where just about every shop is a bookshop. There’s even an ‘honesty bookshop’ in the castle grounds where you select your books and pay into an honesty box. There are plenty of KZbin videos of it out there.

I don't know where you guys are in FL but in central Florida there's a few springs that create crystal clear water you can tube/kayak/swim in. Check out silver springs and rainbow river. Also, the space coast has those plankton and jellies that are bioluminescent, they do guided kayak tours at night, it's incredible. I've spent a lot of time in FL. Those are a couple of my favorite things.

My experience as a kid with baby sitters was very good (I am the older brother of 2). Our baby sitter was an older lady who was really nice, and very religious (Protestant Christian, the largest religion in Germany). I'm not exactly sure how old I was when she first came over to look after me and my brother, but for my curious brain that loves to discuss topics and ask questions it was fascinating hearing her perspective, and then asking my parents afterwards about what she meant and why she believed what she believed. My parents were also slightly religious, but I was always just interested in what "makes sense". Over the years I learned to take what I thought was good from her teachings (being nice to others, loving people, the positive teachings of Christianity, etc.), while still being able to logically question her stories about religion which she 100% believed (Which is totally fine, to each their own, I just don't believe it). I think finding and choosing a baby sitter might be good practice for a kid to have outside influences (teachers, sports coaches, friends, etc) and learn to take in information that wasn't exactly guided by the parents, so that they can then discuss it with them afterwards. The baby sitter scenario is a very sheltered way of experiencing this type of scenario, since the parents are only away for a couple hours and the kid is still young, so there is a lot of time when the parents can discuss things that happened with the kid. I think it helped teach me to stick to my principles and trust myself even when my parents are not there. I also had other sitters, one was incredible, but it was very hard for my parents to find someone who was good and would look after us full time when my mum was working. Of course you first have to find a person whom you trust and who has a quality parenting style, but it might be worth a try to search for someone. I really enjoyed the podcast, loved to see Jaylin and your dynamic :D

I like listening to you folks! Question - how are you all adjusting socially? As in, do you feel like a burning desire to make friends with other adults in your new area, or are you sort of at a point of being happiest just spending time together as a fam? And are there opportunities you'd like to get involved in there with the kids like library story times, preschool play group kind of things? As far as the "lack of dates" thing - don't despair! As you put down roots in your area, make good connections and the kiddos grow that will get easier! Also, some people just don't like traditional "dates" and that's so fine. Sitting through a traditional dinner is so hard for me-- all I can think about is the amount of money and time (mine in particular) being wasted when we could be having a picnic somewhere outside and nice.. 🤪 maybe thats just me
