since tetras always uses memory reading in these videos i think it'd be interesting to do zetris vs tetras both with screen recognition and memory reading, with the same exact rng seed. then we can really see how different the performance is

At the start, Tetras misdropped Albatross (O and S Swapped) 0:17 Tetras misdropped TKI 3 (S and Z Swapped) 5:04 I'm not sure. All i can think is DT but that doesn't look like it

I think thats a huge difference between using memory reading and screen recognition, because sometimes it misread something and would be quite fatal when fighting other AI idk

what is with Tetras’ obsession with 4 wides and various other techniques? If the AI just learns how to do PCs then he can probably beat Zetris

Tetras already has a PC finder, but it’s not being used here for some reason. It may be because Tetras’ PC finder uses 5 previews while Zetris’ PC finder uses 10+ previews, meaning that Tetras’ PC finder is inferior. Also, Tetras already has a positive win rate against PC finder Zetris, so I guess that Traias isn’t doing more work to counter Zetris.

I think all of the settings are turned on. Tetras chooses what to do out of the setting enabled. Tetras chooses center 4-wide midgame because it knows if it gets high enough, it will most likely beat its opponents.
