@@thedandguy189 They're doing a few changes to Pure Fiction like adding more smaller mobs and having each one defeated take a percentage of the main bosses hp and the new buffing mechanics is called Grit. it will be like the Wardance event with you building up points by doing certain actions like using skill to attack, followup attacks or breaking enemies to go into a special buffed state that action advances the whole team and increase their dmg.

So, if Surge Mechanics are potentially new future character mechanics - one thing that can be done to make DOT teams better is have an ally (Likely sustain) that advances enemies and increases DOT damage - that could likely put DOT teams back on the board for broader play.

if you have Luocha, he unironically works since his healing is just a field and not a debuff. It's less damage but he is essentially just Gallagher but with persistent healing and can contribute toughness damage

@ I made soooo many restarts and lemme tell you DOT characters suck, I used firefly super break first half (f2p investment) and barely got 23k points, but Herta Jade Robin Aventurine CARRIED 2nd half and got 37k, beside them Acheron can get her ult faster with DOT but I don’t have her yet

for someone who still believes in DoT, i used this team comp Node 1: Himeko, Ruan Mei, Harmony MC, Gallagher Node 2: Acheron, Kafka, Black Swan, Aventurine (w/ Future Market)

I have the same comps except i used jiaoqiu instead of acheron in second half but the problem is is first half, i just couldn't get even 30000 points on it :'(

@@proudfudanshi7333 i just did it on my 5th try, with 26319 points on first half and 40000 on second half, it was a struggle tho cos yanquing kept freezing Kafka and on the first half the bugs kept stunning ruan mei right when i needed to refresh her skill, i totally hated this. thanks god they changed the buffs for once , the endgame started to be trash considering every endgame have buffs for same type of teams and charater to a point you can run same team in all endgame modes ,, they should keep all endgame buffs different and uniqui so player have great experice playing different modes with different charater

@snakecake-mw7vw my point was that even after having different type of endgame they always favor same teams and charaters ,I understand they want to sell recent charaters but they can just keep MOC in favor of recent charaters and have other endgame buff other units and team building It makes player use different charater and teams which results in more fun It also help solving powercreep issue little bit by making old charater shine in other endgame

Worst Pure Fiction ever! I don't play any DoT teams so I'm fucked. I can't even get 50k points with my units, so how am I supposed to reach 60k here? This crap focuses purely on DoT units and I don't have Black Swan or Jiaoqiu, neither do I have Kafka or Rappa or Lingsha. This is super frustrating. Himeko + Topaz + Aventurine + Gallagher ain't doing shit here and Blade + Bronya + Ruan Mei + Luocha are also trash here. I hate Pure Fiction so much! The last one was much easier, I had over 63k points and the team buffs were much better. DoT doesn't suit this mode and I refuse to accept that!

everyone, second node is exactly why I think huohuo is overrated. If u think she is the best cleanser, you need to seriously stop believing bullshit. She is in name only a good cleanser. what was that, like 5 or 6 chances of cleansing black swans freeze including a direct skill cast on her, and...............yeah....you saw what happened. For all the negatives lingsha has, one surprisingly good value she has that she is an actually good cleanser.
