I got the ES and MR without a second thought. Skipped out on the CL because I own a MAX, and that space Peterbilt ain't going ANYWHERE lol... These ships are the literal and visual tip of the spear right now in design language, imho. Can't believe someone risked it all to show this lol... I'm not even mad. 😂😂

I bought the ES, but skipped on the CL because I own a RAFT and I thought it would be better with the new cargo system, even though it has less cargo space. Now that I've seen the tractor beam arm on the CL I'm regretting that decision :D I think the raft is getting melted when the CL goes on sale again.

@@davewills6121 Not even, this is a controlled leak. If you pay close attention it just shows how the ship looks and nothing else, it could have come straight from an ISC episode. A real leaker would have shown the ship flying so we could see its speed and agility stats.

I figured the Zeus ES would make a good run around and do everything ship with the larger fuel tanks and crew accommodations should be decent little ship to zip around in and determine a game plan for bigger plays, if say you want to travel light and check out a solar system to see whats there, you find a large wreck and go back to get the Reclaimer. idk seems like a pretty useful little ship for playing missions and scouting, or just simply affordable travel this thing will sip fuel VS the msr.

I hope they will give the UI above the screens a background (maybe possibly toggled on and off by the player) in cases like this where it's whit eon white.

The Zeus has a tur·ret /ˈtərət/ and not a tor·rent /ˈtôrənt/, unless you are talking about the liquid movemnt inside the coolers. Loved the walkthru, thank you.

looking at all this usage of space on Zeus (a to a degree on Freelancer) makes me really upset about CIG's treatment of the Spirit, MSR and Hercules and the utter lack of airlocks, docking ports and secondary entries for those ships :(

I’d take this over the CL. I enjoy hauling and cargo, but I prefer living off the land. I won’t be getting it because I already have a Cutter Rambler as my daily driver

I already can see the flaw that will damn this ship for me: only 2 MDF for the pilot. By now you'd guess CIG had learned (Antares). The CL seems just more rational to me then the ES: why should I waste so much space in the back for a cosmetic sink on the other side of the Kitchen and a sitting bench in the crew quarters? Is it so much difficult to come out with sensible ways to use the space? I own CCUs to all versions, but the CL will possibly the only ship I would not CCU to something else, as I dislike the C1 I have. A 400i will be a much better exploration ship anyway, with a proper Statmap console, crew quarters and dedicated astro map antenna

I don't think the small amount of MFD's will be as much of a problem as it used to be, since we're supposed to be able to hotkey to screens with the new update. I could be wrong, though. It could be even more unwieldy than it is now.

There really needs to be a zoom level for the power management screen, once you have used it for 5mins you won't need to see it in such detail, and side scrolling on an MFD whilst flying (and potentially in combat) is just stupid

We already have zoom for interactive mode, and you are not supposed to fiddle with engineering mid-combat or during other intense flight situations if you are the pilot, that's what your copilot/engineer is for.

Potential design flaw; the air lock exposes the middle of the ship. This is going to be a problem as decompression is about to be implemented.

For an explorer, that’s not terribly well thought out. It claustrophobic and there’s nowhere for the crew to sit and actually look at each other. There are no private spaces. The rear entrance is too narrow and the weapons package is meek. They clearly nerfed the hell out of this ship to make the spirit series less shit by comparison. It’s ok, but obviously intentionally nerfed. That’s a real shame.

I dont know why ppl so exited for this ship, it cant fit ursa it has only 2 weapon under pilot control. How it can be daily driver i dont know. Freelancer max way more practical than this crap. It may look nice but who cares if it cant be used as daily driver at this price i always choose Freelancer max over this.

At this point I'm convinced they can write their reasoning on the head of their shlongs and mushroom stamp it right between your eyes. You'll still be out of the loop lol... They've said time and again that all ships will be touched up or completely reworked to be brought up to standard.. Not just once, but a few times... They've said it in ISC's, SCL's, and both IAE/ILW. They might not get to YOUR ship first. They might not get to it anytime soon... But they WILL do it... You don't need a formal education to understand what would happen if they stopped making ships and just worked on making temp fixes to all the available ones...Hell, you don't even need a diploma. It's literally common sense. But here you are, kicking and screaming to have the proverbial branch cut out from underneath you... Don't be the girl in red throwing a tantrum because she didn't get what she wanted, when she wanted it from Willy Wonka. Be the boy that dreamed.... It'll make everything digest better.

Have all 3 like many , yet to overly impressed with the interior layout, not the biggest fan of the Spirit series, yet think the spirit takes the trophy for better, more modern interior?. Seems far to much like a noobs ship. We'll see, actually i don't as ive melted everything, although im Imperator so will get them both anyway

Have the spirit and honestly, never really liked it, wings are too wide, the crease in the glass right in pilots vision, the radar off to the right on the periphery of vision, the button that goes down with the interior rear door…just niggly annoying stuff that adds up to a uneasy experience.

@@davewills6121 i love the c1 but i think Zeus is beating it quite big with that interior, looks so good, c1 interior is quite basic. Will still have my c1 and upgrade my lti pulse to Zeus and use both

@@Zombiesmoker Why not, yeah, the C1 is very clinical in its interior design, although i do like it. hope we don't see the ES a long term eunuch, and that the Scanning and such come on line pretty soon...ish. Best bet will be the CL, its pretty much complete.
