This was a lovely wedding, and what a gorgeous bride for that lucky groom. I noticed in one scene a wedding guest was waving a golden object around the bride before the ceremony. Does anybody know what it was because it looked cool, like an incense holder. Is it waved around her to bless her and the marriage? For good luck?

Hi, It’s a Greek Cypriot wedding that took place in the UK. The couple were both born and raised in England but their family’s origins are from Cyprus. My wedding was similar as I come from the same community. We’ve kept a lot of our traditions but also blended them with modern/ traditional English/‘Western’ customs as well. 🙂 Edit: I’ve just realised how old the comments I’m replying to are 🙈. I’ve kept my reply up though in case any newer viewers are wondering about the style and location of the wedding.
