This sound is not hers, she took it from Serge Lama and people LOVED so much that Lara sang it all the time and even now and Serge Lama, the owner of this music invited Lara to sing with him, and when they were done he asked Lara to sing it in front of him on her own and Lara was even more successful with this cover and she even put it on 2 albums. History The song Je suis malade was inspired by a real heartbreak of Serge Lama, the story of a long secret relationship. In 1969, the singer met Michèle Potier in Chamonix. She did NOT write this song; it is a cover of a 1973 song. But I believe it is fair to say that Lara takes it and makes it hers. I can't imagine anyone ever doing it better! By the way, I suggest that in the future you let the video play until the end.
