Yaaa conductor wanted a crack tempo, and they held it for a little, but it dropped at least 15 clicks by the end of the solis

When I was in 8th grade I got to play in the high school jazz band and we played this piece and it was one of the hardest but most fun and incredible pieces to learn and play. And personally I’d say as a high school we did a crazy good job on it but it’s just crazy how music and jazz especially bring people together and bring joy

@@jostlampretbass Kako je z Marionom? V teh letih se je prekalil v pravega jazzovskega solista. Pozdravi ga.

It was wonderful to see and hear another performance by the Ljubljana Academy of Music Big Band. It was nice to see some of the familiar faces and great to see such talented new performers. Their Jazz pieces are always superb. Primoz my friend you said it best. "They play with technical brilliance along with splendid musicality and poetry. These guys (and gal) are worth all of our attention." Although it was always more entertaining when Matej Hotko conducted standing up.

Just love it. Great playing of the big band. Nice brass section as well. Tight and perfect in time. Congratulations. I think Big Phat Band and Gordon Goodwin must see this

The "square" formation that the band is in is a common technique for practice; easier to pick out problematic sections/players when theyre either in front, left, or right of you. Interesting that they're arranged this way for a performance
@longjohnlannister92227 ай бұрын
It’s also used in recording setups, there’s a couple videos of Gordon’s band in this formation

Suggestion: Vary your adjectives in your titles. "Amazing" is overused. IF EVERYTHING IS AMAZING, NOTHING IS AMAZING. Used too often, it now sends this message: "The Same Sunny Day After Sunny Day After Sunny Day California Sunshine Boring." Use Instead: "Compelling" "Lyrical" "Enticing" "Magnetic" "Enthralling" and so forth. And I'm sure you can find even better ones in your thesaurus.

Dear Don. Thanks for suggestion. In my next videos I may even credit you! Take care.
