Özgür Mutlu Öz - "Multidisciplinary Design Processes" - ArchiDesign Talks BAU

May 16, ArchiDesign Talks'22 continue with Özgür Mutlu Öz. After graduating from Middle East Technical University Department of Industrial Design in 2003, Özgür Mutlu Öz got involved in Arçelik Group as a product designer. He participated in design projects of white goods such as washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven and hob as a team leader, and managed the design projects of consumer electronics products for Grundig. While conducting his masters education in Istanbul Technical University Department of Industrial Design, Özgür Mutlu Öz focused on experience design, product-user interaction and interface design and carried on display and interface design projects within Arçelik Group. Accordingly, today, he is the Head of the UX/UI Department of Arçelik Group and responsible for user experience and user interface studies of the entire product range including white goods, TV’s, consumer electronics, small household appliances and mobile applications of those products of all the marketing regions such as North America, EMEA, Russia, and Asia-Pacific. Additionally, many of the projects he included in received awards such as IF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, Good Design Award, Design Turkey, CES Innovation Award, German Design Award along with Koç and Arçelik awards.
