after listening from numbers of different japanese singers. Tokiko kato is the best among all. not only her voice , also the music that accompanied her recording. BEAUTIFUL !!!. This song was on her LP that i first listened while i was living in germany. I love the whole LP. GREAT. Big compliment to her. and also the uploader - Xiaochein. Big THANKS.

已經聽了好多年了,實在優美無比的歌。但請記得敬佩森繁久彌先生偉大的作曲。

Thank you very much for the translation. As most Taiwanese, I love Japanese songs, especially those old Enkas, though my limited Japanese is not good enough to understand them well. Your effort and help in this regard on KZbin would help many people like me a lot.
Such a lovely song! When i was a kid, my mother used to listen to this. It reminds me good times when i lived with her. Thx for upload!

I remembered this song when the tour boat sank in Shiretoko, Japan. A 22-year-old man was involved in an accident trying to propose on this ship. I'm listening to this song because I want to calm the remorse of a young man who isn't half alive yet.😞
