ZH Fairlane 351 vs VY GTS

In 1988 my mate had a $12.000 351 windser in a tow truck ! Man the amount of road going cars this thing chewed up was amazing . . I was only thinking recently how quick it was back in the day. But $12.000 in 1988 was a huge price for an engine but man did it fly in a 3 ton tow truck 😊

My poppy use to own one of these but a worked 302 which use to outrun the police, he could never find a powee steering pump i think he regrets selling it, it also went to queensland while towing a caravan and he broke the spedo at half throttle,

made 279rwhp or 208.5rwkw @4900rpm. high 500nm. had 4.11s. 2800 stall.
