From one ABC to one BBC, safe travels! Our interaction was brief at Revolver but from the restaurants to identity…we share several life parallels. Very cool! By the time you return to Taiwan, my summer anthem will be ready. 😂
What a great interview! I come from a multicultural background, too. It was fun growing up and experiencing different cultures since I was little, but, at the same time, there were times that I didn’t feel home in any of these countries. Identify crises is another issue for me. From time to time, I envy my friends who always have families and friends around them. This year, I am moving to another country again… not sure for how long this time. Anyway, I have learnt to appreciate what I have and simply be joyful and thankful! PS: Love your videos!!❤

I'm a third culture kid (latin-western-taiwanese) and feel very fortunate to have grown up this way. The world is becoming more globalised so it's really an advantage and allows me to be very adaptable.

To Henry, you belong to the earth. not just a country, a nation. People would know that and agree with you. ❤
You may do another vlog to visit Bolivia with tour guide Henry one day!

Thought you intended to live in Japan for a while, now you are in Taiwan again. What happened to the soul-searching in Japan? This interview was great showing the diversity of the 華人, or 台灣人 if you prefer, in the world. I love 台灣, I went to high school there.

My little kids are 1/2 Cuban and 1/2 taiwanese..I'd love for them to be able to speak spanish as well, but my wife's not teaching them. 😂😂😂... oh well, at least they learnt a little bit of mandarin from my mom.. baby steps. 😂

44 years ago, a lot of taiwanese fled to south america to escape the highly oppressive and suppressive Roc government that was during the time of martial law, my aunt was one of those ppl. She and her husband illegally stayed until they got divorce so she fled back to taiwan after the divorce.
@Henrytu you mentioned that Taiwan is so safe. Is Bolivia not safe or not as safe?

Christina, what's interesting is that when you talk to Henry in English, you have a little bit of a Spanish accent. Since you are picking up people's accent unconsciously, maybe you should start learning a 3rd language, like your mom. 😀
