@TheScannik You are right, the story mode scenarios are shown at 0:21 - 1:18 and the second part (1:27 -1:50) includes free unification battles where you can choose any land to govern and expend. There you can hire other characters and play as them.

No, there's no free mode. There are only two game modes, one is the Story Mode and the second in the Unification mode like in the previous SW2E installment.
