I'm studying abroad in America and I've been thought I have to use perfect pronunciation. But one day when talked to my friend and she couldn't understand what I want to say, she said “ I'm sorry I don't know what you mean bc I'm not used to a Japanese accent ” I was glad that she considered my pronunciation as Japanese accent, not wrong pronunciations and I found there is no wrong pronunciation. And after watch this video I realized that it's more important to tell my opinion than care about my English level. Thank you for this meaningful video!
ill just suggest to work on your accent. english has a bunch of accent but work on your pronunciations, you can have an accent but having an accent thats difficult to understand is different, you sound fluent already so just work on enunciating words properly
I’m a native British English speaker but you can’t go to a random American university and speak to some Americans to get better at English😂 They can’t even spell words properly. American English is a cheap version of proper British English. If you really want to learn proper English you have to go to Oxford or Cambridge or Durham Uni, where the Queen’s English is spoken. It’s getting so much rarer now that people will actually appreciate it if you can speak it.

I don’t think he picked this uni to learn proper British English 😅
