Traditional entertainment is wonderful. It makes people smile. Especially this mask changing performance is close to the audience. Good music is repeated in my head.

His one of the best mask changers i ve seen..he does it flawless , you can notice only once when he pulls the white mask because the women kept her hand on his face longer than he wanted .. they are awesome!
+Ryan Sun Thank you for your very sharp comments. Indeed, here the non-Chinese speaking audiances could not cooperate very well with the Chinese performers. It was wakward and funny, but real as well. When the performers arrived in Toronto, they did not rehearse beforehand due to the tight schedule, not to mention they could interact with the audiances beforhand. Happy the year of Monkey, Ryan!

+Art Studio Hi Art Studio, sorry I am not mean that the audiances did anything wrong. It's the risk of the performer when he choose to that close distance with audiances. Just a pity that an accident happened during the preformance

The mask is an incredibly sophisticated highly expensive PLASMA SCREEN - OBVIOUSLY ! the mask 'images' are transmitted to it from the head gear. Or even via a built-in micro radio-receiver. Not cheap folks !

Do you think ancient world had that technology to change they mask it is a traditional art
@chromberries73292 жыл бұрын
Yeah, cut they had plasma screens hundreds of years ago. In reality, the masks are thin layers of silk that are being pulled quickly down into the actors costume through the use of a sophisticated string set up hid under the bulky costume. There's a reason the masks only change when one hand is hidden or if the actor makes an unexpected jerk.

@@chromberries7329 That's not possible as the performer changed the mask while holding a child with both hands.
