Theose are Mudan which is called Peony in west country, There are many kinds of of Peony. If realy like , welcome to Luo yang, Chian , my home town.

I have 9 Chinese tree peonies (the woody shrub kind) that grow beautifully in my yard in Maryland, USA. these are the ones shown in this video. I also have 6 kinds of herbaceous peonies (the ones that died to the ground in winter) that need to be stalked to support the flowers, and 3 intermediate peonies (a cross between the tree & herbaceous peony).

梅花是中华民国的国花，但是新中国国花必须是牡丹。梅花香自苦寒来，寓意和花品很高。但是民国几十年几乎一直在救亡图存死难重重，国运很不好。牡丹是盛唐的国花，而新中国要实现民族复兴，牡丹是盛世繁华前途似锦的象征，是新中国的国花。
