Yes, but if Foreigners brought properties in Thailand during Covid, they will make a handsome profit. If foreigners brought property in America during COVID19, they will have lost substantial profit. Need to evaluate timing of purchase before dispensing general advice. You may mislead viewers

You had better not sell your condo in Pataya. My gut says you will find it really hard to immigrate to Canada with your family, let alone getting Canadian permanent residency or citizenship. You will eventually get dissapointed with mainland China and come back to Thailand. So dont sell the condo.
