hi lure cafe, i was wondering if this compared to Daiwa silver creek custom reel, which would be a much better reel ? i fish in slightly wider stream than yours but also a lot trickier to cast and most cast we do is flip cast due to alot of low hanging trees and bushes. Which reel would offer better accuracy and also greater distance when i need to make long cast up stream ? i mainly use minnows in the 3 to 5g range

The responsiveness of both spools is about the same, and both are sufficient for throwing lures of 3g and up. TenderShoot has a 2mm larger spool diameter, so I think it will fly farther. However, I think the difference is small. On the other hand, TenderShoot has a high center of gravity and a high clutch position, so it will be easier to perform technical casts including flip casts with Silver Creek. I think I would choose Silver Creek.

@@lurecafe thats awesome ! How about if you were to take silver creek and the gekkabijin to the mix ? I know the gekkabijin cast distance much better but im leaning more and more towards the silver creek. Distance doesnt seem to be a problem too for silver creek for 3g and up if i rmb correctly.

I don't have a Gekka Bijin, but I think the brake characteristics are similar to the Alphas Air TW. (Air brake system) The air brake system has an advantage in terms of maximum flight distance, but when you cast lightly, the spring does not work and the brake may not work as well as expected. Accuracy will be hampered if you use a lot of flip casts into cover. I think I would use Silver Creek in those situations.

I bought and test. I found magnatic break of this reel is good. It act to the line like adjust a tension knob.I only tune tension knob for remove a gab of spool and adjust the magnatic break for cast untill line is straight.Now i understand why they design strange break knob and no scale on break.I should see the action of the line but not scale on the break😂

Personally, when I change lures, I want to match the scale to the one that matches the lure, so the brake scale is necessary. I think it's different for each person😉

購入試用しましたが、Ａioushi ｃ-511よりも超軽量ルアーではバックラッシュないですね。

スプール径、スプール重量、マグブレーキの調整のしやすさすべてTender Shootの方が優れてますからね😄レベルワインダーもシンクロしないですし。 S-C511は見た目が良いのでどっちもいい所があるかなと思ってます。

Are you using monofilament or fluorocarbon , 8lb or 6 pound test line ?, thanks.....

I don't use monofilament line with this reel. There's no particular reason why I can't use it, it's just that I can use PE line without any problems.

Best product showcase/demonstration/review of this reel in YT. Although I have the 23 Calcutta Conquest BFS, I ordered this reel as well in order to combine a second CDM mountain stream combo. Tackle addiction is my real problem 😀

I think Tender shoot is an interesting second reel. It's cheaper than Calcutta, so I don't mind if it's handled roughly. I'm also having trouble with too many tackles.

Cheers from Italy. Finally a nice video of this reel. Would you recommend It? I Will fish in a Little Big stream then yours with a 2-3g lures for chubs. I have tried the dark Wolf ultra chinese reel but got some problems tò cast under 2g lures. The option Is the Daiwa silver creek ultra but its a lor of Money. Thanks 👍👍

I don't have Dark Wolf Ultra, but I think it's almost the same as Black Knight 2, so I'll compare it to Black Knight 2. The spool weight of TenderShoot is a little lighter, and the brakes are more effective, so I think it's worth trying. Also, if you don't care about the round shape, we recommend Kastking's Variant Eagle as it is cheap and allows you to throw light lures.

Just ordered It. I also want to upgrade my Rod. What do you prefer between palms egeria native and majorcraft finetail? As i said i mostly fish in a Little bigger River than yours but still small Rivers.

If I were to compare the 46s, I feel that the Egeria Native is a slightly lighter lure that is easier to use. The material of Egeria is a little heavier, and the weight of the rod flexes, making it easier to throw. On the other hand, if you want to use it on a slightly wider river, the slightly longer fine tail glass 410 may be better. (Egeria's glass model does not have this length.)

剛性感も十分なのでバス釣りでも使えると思います。 スプールサイズは23カルコンBFSに近いので、カルコンBFSと同じような用途で使うのが良いかと。

I don't get the point of these noname reels. If you don't have the money for something like an aldebaran, alphas air, etc, then buy a used reel of a quality brand instead of throwing money out the window on a reel with zero quality control and made in some basement in China.

I already own some of the best reels like Alphas Air, Aldebaran BFS, and Calcutta Conquest. (Please see another video.) I enjoy these Chinese reels not because they are cheap, but because I am interested in them. It's not cool to criticize other people's actions.

@@lurecafe You have a youtube channel, so its fair to test stuff for videos. What i am not OK with are the clueless fishermans that buy these reels, and have massive issues with them within days or weeks of usage. Have already seen a couple of youtube vids showing how poor this reel was built, and there's nothing surprising, quality control is unknown in China.
