Boys, you have to stop and advancement of the fire and save the exposure structures. Putting all your water and energy and resources on the main body of the fire as it advances outward toward other buildings is really not smart fire control management.

Totally agree. Concentrate on the flanks not the main body of fire. Stop spread of fire to other nearby structures. Even if they are volunteers, they should do a bit more theoretical and practical training.

Huh? At 0:55 you can see two lines are headed around the building to the left, to protect that exposure. At 6:30, and again at 7:30, it looks like the left side of the fire is knocked down. Isn't that exactly what they should be doing?

放水していないけど、多額の保険金が降りるように燃え尽きるのを待っているの？

保険は屋根が崩れた面積で算出されます。 防水しないのは、中途半端に消して建物崩壊のリスクを考えて燃え尽きてしまった方が良いとの判断なのかと！ しかし延焼のリスクもあるから そこの判断が難しいらしいけど、延焼しないようにするのが第一優先でその次に全焼させる
