He is torn. He helped Feng Wu but he won't attack his father. And on the other hand, his father, even though he disowned him, also cannot kill his son. The characters were great in this show. But the plot started to unravel quite a bit near the end, regarding the actual motivations of the Holy Queen. It seemed to me that once Feng Wu got her Phoenix blood back, it was "let's wrap this story up boys" and things moved fast.
