@rewez2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the detailed tutorial! Just received my M2S today and I love how compact it is. I used to own a Feiyu G6 Plus for my Sony A6000 and I think the M2S is a far superior gimbal and it's cheaper too. I would say the only drawback is that it lacks wifi , unlike the previous M2 model. So, the only way to use the record button on the gimbal is through a cable, which is rather cumbersome. Overall, I still like it!

It's a GREAT and very comprehensive video. Unfortunately, there's a BUT. @Mamo Air - regarding 27:01 ->> can you provide a full video tutorial with all the steps on how to re-calibrate Crane M2S using the six-side calibration? My gimbal was actually perfectly calibrated out of the box and then I followed your advise, did the six-side calibration and now it's strangely tilted, which makes it unusable. I am quite worried what to do about this, because I only realized after the fact that, contrary to the video's suggestion, there's no need to do the re-calibration if the position levels are correct. Now my gimbal doesn't work and I don't know what to do. I spent many hours and many re-calibration attempts but apparently I am somehow positioning the gimbal wrongly, because it results in mis-aligned levels. It all worked fine before I did the 'six-side calibration'. I will be very grateful for a full video on how to calibrate it. The APP photos don't provide sufficiently clear instructions.
@BlondVlogs2 жыл бұрын
I am having this same problem. Did you fix it and how did you do it?
@darianwawer2 жыл бұрын
@@BlondVlogs Yes, I fixed it (info below). Ok, so - you are NOT supposed to calibrate the gimbal at all, unless you notice specific problems. All gimbals are properly pre-calibrated and the vast majority of the time will work perfectly fine straight out of the box (that's the official information from the manufacturer). HOW TO FIX IT: There's no official English video, but on the Chinese website of Zhiyun there's a proper instructional video: www.zhiyun-tech.com/cn/service/support/587/3/show?type=website&page=second_nav&source=service2#/pages/index/support/videoPage Specifically video named CRANE-M2 S 六面校准教程 (this is the second video from the bottom). What you will need is a moderately tall, sturdy box in order to perform proper calibration. They tell you which part is the one that you should actually pay attention to and how to position it correctly at each stage. I am sure it will be much easier to do it with this video. Good luck!

I have just ordered a Crane-M2 S and have a short question. If my camera does have an internal (optical) stabilizer, should I switch this one of or on while using the camera on the gimbal?
@MamoAir Жыл бұрын
Hello there. Thanks for the message. In my experience different cameras work differently in gimbals. Sometime I turn the stabilisation of the camera off while I use the gimbal as they try to compensate each other stabilisation and the image is quite artificial. Hello, nice Video! I got a question tho, as soon as I want to use the Portrait Mode or the V Mode to have the Gimbal vertical, the Pan Axis Motor stops rotating and goes back to the original Position. Do you know why? Greetings

Hi mate. I get my new crane m2s and use GoPro hero 8. I watch you video how to balance. You use GoPro hero 10. I am struggling GoPro 8 it can be problem because it is lighter. hard to find balance third point. Looks like it’s hold position but then move to the bottom it’s flip.

Hey I have a question. I’ve got a sony aplpha 6000 but the problem is that the stabilator is always showing me the “sleep mode” or something like that and my camera is not staying still at the top it’s always fallin down.
@MamoAir Жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for the message. If your gimbal is going to sleep kpde is usually because your camera is not properly balanced on the gimbal and the notors struggle too much. If you face problems you better contact Zhiyun support team. Subscribe for more. Ciao

Hey there, saw that you have a fuji camera, have you tried with this gimbal? Ive found it difficult to balance, i have to push the horizontal middle part towards to left. what happens is the motors overheat after a while, especially when shooting outdoors and it simple conks out and goes to sleep mode. Also tried it on a xh2s, works fine after 15mins then the battery drains and it overheats. :(

Thanks for your video! Can M2s hold iPhone 15 Pro Max with the cage and Moment anamorphic lens plus 67mm's ND filter? I like M2s since it is very lighter and mini but I just don't know if it can hold heavy added iPhone cage, please provide your professional opinion , Thanks so much!

Hi there. Thank for the message. Unfortunately I have not tried the gimbal with your setup so I cannot confirm. Hello! After using the six side calibration through ZY pLay app, the gymbal is not leveling anymore. Its tilt left from my point of view. I am using mobilphone. How can i correct it? Should I go to motor menu and set custom? Or what? Any advice would be appreciate !

Hello there. My suggestion would be to calibrate it again. Or in the app you should be able to correct the values manually. Unfortunately I do not have this gimbal anymore and cannot double check

I'll add to the grateful chorus. Especially since the printed manual is printed in a light grey, microscopic 5pt type, making it very uncomfortable to read. I do have a couple of questions... Most importantly, is there a way to control the sensitivity of the joystick? As it is the movements are abrupt and jerky. The app is worse. Second question is regarding a zhiyun crane m2s quick release plate. The one that comes with the MS2 has pointed wedge to fit into the locking mechanism. If I do a search, I don't see any pointed replacement plates. Only squared off ones. Ideally, it might be nice to have a couple of extras to set up multiple types of cameras quickly.
@MamoAir2 жыл бұрын
Hello Dorian, thanks for checking the video, I hope it helped. Regarding the joystick,...I do not have the gimbal with me right now but I remember there is some settings in the menu, you should look there. About the extra plates, I recommend to get in touch with Zhiyun directly, they'll be happy to help. Thanks. Consider to subscribe. Ciao
@dgreenspino2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your quick reply. That's very kind of you. I checked the menu in the gimbal and in the advanced settings it appears as though there are options for control but they don't do anything. The Joystick option is useless:( ... I appreciate your suggestion of contacting them. I honestly didn't thing of that.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get my Kandao Qoocam EGO 3D (which is as big as a GoPro) in a complete stable position with the gimbal turned off. It's like there's no resistance at all? I can get it stable in a neutral position (tripod out), but when moving the camera it won't stay in that position unlike what you showed. It does when the gimbal is turned on, so that's good. But again, there's no resistance when the gimbal is turned off.

Do you need to rebalance the gimbal everytime you take off the camera with the same lens?
@MamoAir2 жыл бұрын
Ciao Daniel. Usually you do not have to rebalance the gimbal if you use the exact same gear and if you do not move the balanced arms of the gimbal. Once the gimbal is balance with the camera and lens, it should be ready to roll at any time. Minor adjustments must still be made sometimes though. Hit susbscribe and join my community. Ciao
