Today we will be reviewing some Filming Tech, more specifically, a Gimbel for your Smartphone. One of the most touted on the market currently in 2023. The Zhiyun Smooth 5s Combo package with the additional accessories.
This review will also contain an unboxing of the product and it comes from the perspective of a Android user.
The product was purchased with my own money and all my opinions are my own.
We will be going through what in included in the package, how the product worked for my use and if I can recommend it for you.

Being an android user this cleared a lot of things for me. I believe this is the honest review I have seen in KZbin which really talks about pros and cons as well. Other than you mostly youtubers are talking about pros and pros for every gimbal. Being am android user what's your view on Hohem M6?

The problem with Android phones in general is that companies like Samsung, which I’ve been using since the Galaxy S1, don’t open their API to developers. This isn’t Zhiyun‘s fault, but the phone producer’s… Within several years, I got to use a few of the features in filmic pro, but the support was ridiculous. Same with the DJI OM6, this isn’t the gimbal’s fault. That’s why this year I switched to an iPhone 14 pro Max - ProRes got me and I do not regret it. It’s about 10+ times faster than my S8+ and whatever my S21 does within 2-3 second’s delay, the iPhone does instantaneously. No brainer. No matter what Android Phone you use, Apple is the only one that will give full access to external developers. I never wanted to have anything that came from Apple, ever. But it was either that or a whole new DSLR plus an expensive gimbal

I ended up buying the Hohem M6 iSteady ... it is a beast and totally compatible with Android. I really prefer it over the Zhiyun.

I have a wish! I want to get a new gaming headset which is capable of ANC as well, maybe you will find a hidden gem!

That's a tough one. Since for ANC I would not recommend a Gaming headset

Which mode is good for selfie video using the main camera? Like walking and recording myself?

I would use the Pan Follow. The gimbal only follows movements on the pan axis. So any side-to-side movement. This is good for any shot where you want the horizon to stay level and you don’t want the camera to tilt up or down. You can also tap the trigger 3 times to make the gimbal turn 180 so you can use the back camera instead of the front.

have you tried to turn on experimental mode? this will give you 4K 60fps

Tried it, in the ZY cami app it does give you the option for 4k60 but while you film with it selected it still does 4k30fps.
