you should've used a lower end fone to really test the stabilization. by standard, iphone 11 footage already very stable even if handheld. good review. excited to see it and test it out.

Thanks for this review. Feel two axis is all I would need. Being old the ability to extend the handle for either low to the ground, extended, or overhead shots is a real nice feature. Thing is I started when the steadicam first came out. Lets just say we only rented them as needed for "film" production. As part of the group "People at Risk" my hope is we one day get on the other side of the COVID-19 pandemic so I can get back outside and maybe get back into production with tools like this.

I guess the two axes means that it works well for selfie filming when it’s fully extended. $59 is crazy cheap for a gimbal. You wouldn’t be so worried about damaging it at that price 👍

Update: I recently bought this gimbal and it works really well with Electric Image stabilisation. However I found out it doesn;t work well with optical stabilisaton. I'm using it with Oneplus 5t and it works great

Just the fact that it needs u to install their app and give permeation to access to your GPS location just for activating the gimbal. This is not sth safe from China. Needless to say u film stuff with their app and they can literally get your image into their sever somehow in the background. This is NO JOKE. The cheaper price included your personal information and safety issue. DJI has been exposed lately with their app accessing data that is unnecessary.

I put my phone on airplane mode when doing shoots so calls don't interrupt it, airplane mode kills data also so they cant get shit. and my videos and photos are transferred to my external memory long before I turn airplane mode off. besides its not like we cant guess your general location from the videos posted and pics posted on social media, as far as gps activation getting my location, good luck with that. never activate anything at your home if your paranoid the big bad Chinese are going to come get you in the middle of the night and take you away

Thanks for this video! I ordered one the other day off Amazon and only paid $30 for it without the case and small tripod legs as I didn’t find the set until after I bought it and figured I wouldn’t be setting it up on a table but I would use my camera tripod I already have! I was worried it wasn’t going to be good but your video let me know it is definitely a good started gimbal to get!

I got mine today and I have to say it really sucks. I can’t use my actual phones camera at all. Also if I take my hand off the grip it just starts to twist back and forth. I must have location on at all times to use which will allow others to see where my home is if they know how to figure that out. It will work for what I need it for but I definitely won’t buy another product from this company because I like privacy having 5 children. It’s very good quality. Oh also if I have it on charge I can’t turn it on unless I unplug it and then plug it back it which is a bummer. I would have loved to use my phones camera instead of an app

Just a tip.... if you rotate the rosette on the Sony FX9 viewfinder, so the square bar attaches underneath rather than on top....you'll find it doesn't lean at that annoying angle !!!
