Just got my first gimbal; super stoked. You can actually use the Weebill S in Inverted mode like other gimbals and the Pan Follow still works fine. You have to switch to Pov mode, then turn it upside down to the left(the side without the motor), then switch to PF(or any other mode you'd like to use). Switch back to Pov mode to turn it right side up without freaking out the motors(turn it to the left again).

I am confused about the whole 6 months thing. It wasn’t released until mid October. I had a pre production version about two weeks before that. So basically 3 months!

Wow Mr Bloom it’s a pleasure! Thanks for stopping by 😊 I got the very first Beta version in August mainly for testing and to give feedback / Opinions on performance etc (granted, it wasn’t great at the time, mainly the motors had too much power. Obviously the final version is much more stable and leaps ahead). Just for clarification. Thanks for all the inspo over the years mate 👍🏻

Hi James, always fun to watch your stuff. Thank you! You asked for problems: I do have one problem with my Weebill S: when I hold the main handle at about 45 degrees, do a panning motion, holding down the Follow button to change the tile of the camera, as soon as I let go of the follow button, the gimbal jerks to a new position. Very annoying. I hope Zhiyun will notice and fix in future firmware. Second problem: the pan speed that I get with the main handle vertical is different (faster) than the pan speed I get when the main handle is at 45 degrees (which I find to be a more comfortable angle to film at). Also annoying. But agree that if they can fix these issues, this is THE gimbal!

@BrandonLuckain5 жыл бұрын
I upgraded to the S from the lab, and I've seen reviews from other YTers that helped me with that decision. But some reviews on B&H's site about the fragility of the axes locks were all too true for me. Had to replace mine a few days ago after the tilt motor lock gave out on me. I would just be weary of that, especially if it's on the side of your bag and any pressure is exerted on it. Other than that, it's been SPOT ON.
@colinphotovideo5 жыл бұрын
Same things happened to mine mate with one of the axis locks no longer working. I've not sent mine off yet but did the whole process for a repair/new unit take long?
@BrandonLuckain5 жыл бұрын
@@colinphotovideo didn't even attempt repair since I bought it less than a month ago, I just swapped it at B&H. For reference, my older Crane V2 took a few weeks to go back to China for repair of the roll motor. But this was a few years ago (I have a video about it on my channel)
