Two questions: 1) Does adding the Video Transmitter add to the overall weight the motors are supporting, or no because it is attached to the bracket. 2) I have the Canon 5D Mark IV and the manual indicates that the cable should provide e-focus options. I've set the jog wheel to use the e-focus option, but it NEVER does anything. It does not actually adjust any focus. How does this work??

Great video! I just ordered this Gimbal but it appears that it will not be compatible with my Canon 5D Mark II nor my Panasonic GH3. This is disappointing to say the least. I suppose it should still give me basic stabilizing but will not interface with the trigger (?) Does that sound right? Any thoughts on this? I like the cameras I have and can't upgrade at this time. Can I still make good use of the Gimbal with these cameras?

Please give specific instruction for the Panasonic GH5. In particular how to attain focus as you demonstrate in this video. What are the GH5settings? I also am not able to enter the ZY Play app in WiFi only bluetooth and I have a limited number of functions. Very frustrating. After many hours of trying to figure the Weebil S and the Zyiuhn Transmitter out I can only make certain functions work and then on a limited basis. No instructions for the GH5. Almost to the end of the 30 day return period. I want to make it work but technical equipment needs complete instructions. Zhiyun falls way short.

how about the silenses of the motorized zoomfunction. If I use a NON STM lens like the 24-105 mm to my camera (90D) and shoot in movie mode, you can hear the auto focus motor. But do I use the kitlens 18-135 ISTM lens in movie mode, you wil not hear the autofocus motor. So I wonder if you will hear the external zoom motor by playng back? (sorry if my Englisch is not correct)

Weebill S on my Sony a6400: i am able to control record button, f, speed, iso, bracketing... but that if only my setting on weebil s at "canon" camera (not Sony). Focus is not working, live view via handphone also not working.. seem like diffrent YZ app.. could you provide link download YZ app ? Thanks.

If you set to "canon", then the battery (weebill s) will continously drain off to charge the camera..😅

I have an X-T3, Weebill S and the zhiyun transmount image transmission module. I am not able to start the video recording with ZY Play... The firmware of the 3 devices is up to date. When I start ZY Play, an exclamation point appears at the top of the screen. If we click on it, we get the message "Unable to adjust parameter, please re-connect or change cam settings, or contact service center". I have contacted the support of "Zhiyun-Tech". No answer... And the "transmount image transmission module" consumes a lot of energy. When plugged into the Weebill S, the autonomy of the gimbal decreases enormously.

Hmmm, not exactly an elegant solution, but you could try increasing the deadban of the pan axis and then attempt the shot in follow mode.

Brandon Shi using a coin to tighten the screws is recommended, hand tight is not tight enough

Hey Brett, I'm reaching out to you because ZHIYUN tech support has been useless so far. Told of my issues succinctly and got cookie cutter blow off answers. Been spending hours trying to get the transmission transmitter to work with SONY A7Siii and Weebill S. If I just connect the gimbal and camera with no transmitter involved is works perfectly. I must use the USB C to gimbal cable- NOT the mulit micro USB on the A7siii. When trying to use the transmission system it worked once on the android phone and twice on the iPad. This is after 50+ attempts of entering in on the app after unsuccessful connections in control, video or both. The compatibility grid PDF for ZHIYUN says A7siii should have SONY camera info as well show up on app. This I have never seen in any screen I got to work. In your understanding, despite the literature compatibility list, does this system work with the A7Siii or not? Any help is appreciated as hours of google and blogs got me nowhere. Thanks Curtis

Hello friend. Actually WBS can control and work with A7S3 definitely. May I know what kind of Transmitter you are using? And then select "camera"-->"sony" on gimbal menu.

My combination is Weebill S, COV-01 Transmission Transmitter Firmware current 2.17, SONY A7Siii. As per PDF instruction manual, there is no control cable connected from the USB C or Micro USB Multi port on the A7Siii camera to the transmitter. I've tried using both ports previously with the transmitter with no results. After replacing the transmitter since the wifi on the first one failed, I can now easily connect the transmitter to Android or iOs, view the video and control the gimbal. I cannot however start/stop recording on the ZY play app nor see any ISO, Shutter Speed, F Stop info etc on the ZY App. When I connect the Weebill S to the camera with th ZHIYUN LN-MBUC-BO1 cable WITHOUT the transmitter, exit CCS mode and choose SONY A7Siii on the Weebill S, all the camera controls:Start Stop Record, ISO, F Stop etc work PERFECTLY on the Weebill S as a stand alone with camera and gimbal only. My question is very simple. Can the camera control parameters such as start stop recording ISO, etc show up and work on the ZY app? If not then please make this clear in your sales material. The videos you made with Matt show SONY camera connection from the A7iii to the transmitter camera control functions that work on the Weebill S are not available on the ZY app. On 2:57 of the video you referenced above, you will see the conflict with your PDF instruction manual that say there should be no cable between the SONY camera and the transmitter. Please advise. Having said all that, the gimbal by itself without works great and having used it already on a gig, I am very pleased.

ZUIYUN Tech support came through! What was tripping me up was the fact that the Micro B USB port next to the HDMI input on the transmitter can receive the Micro USB right angle on the left side half of the wide Micro B port. You then take the other end of the micro USB cable (ZW Micro-002) and plug it into the multi-port micro usb on the A7siii just below the USB C port. Power starting sequence gimbal with camera (CCS) selected, power transmitter, then camera. Working great on android and iOS.

It is a shame the TransMount CMF-06 follow focus cant update the firmware to work with the Webill S. I had to end up throwing the CMF-06 in the rubbish.

CMF-06 is work with weebills, it upgrade firmware via computer, not connect with weebills to upgrade the firmware.

@@ZhiyunTechGlobal The gimbal I bought only had it for 2 years, I rarely used it, probably had a days use with the gimbal over the course of 2 years, i always had it in lock position when not in use. I noticed when locks were on the gimbal always felt shaky like something could snap. when in locked position, the bottom lock was the most strongest lock of them all. I also spoke to your sales rep they said not much they could do about it I had problems with locks from day one tried to return but the online store I bought from weren't helpful.Gimbal shouldn't break so easily not impressed with zhiyun not helping me on this.
