Zhou Shen does not put on a female voice - he has an unusual voice because it did not break when he was a teenager so he maintained his soft youth voice listen to videos where he talks. He has a very sweet voice. He studied Bel Canto in Ukraine. He is constantly learning new things and training his voice. I think he is 28-29 now.

In that poem he illustrated further, the futility of fear and anxiety over these obstacles, (he called trivial matters in life) that like the torrential rain and surging wind they would naturally fade away. Su Shi’ was highly respected and revered for his simple, upright and straightforward life philosophy, built from his rich experiences. He was outspoken and did everything for the good of the country and the people. His honest opinion landed him a death sentence under the imperial law. Su Shi’s advocacy is to lead a life of simplicity, of forbearance, of forthrightness and that this would stand you in good stead when you are in need of help. Glad that both of you have found this gem artist singer. The Chinese cultural Jing opera vocalise and singing were done by Zhoushen himself not 钱雷 Qianlei. It is a bit distracting when Zhoushen sang and both of you kept talking. It is best to communicate after he finished singing to have better Reaction effect.

Despite of his bestowed tone quality and sophisticated singing techniques, Zhou Shen’s songs are with stories that we can dig deep into. Here is my understanding of the background of this song and would like to share with those who may want to know more about Chinese history. This song was shot in Forbidden City because the lyrics was about Chongzhen(崇禎), the last emperor of the Ming Dynasty (明朝) in China. Ming Dynasty had become weak during Chongzhen’s time. Inspite of his effort during his reign, he was finally defeated by the Bannerman (旗人). Chongzhen went to the small hill at the back of Forbidden City and suicided. The song《光亮》 is to recognize the efforts of Chongzhen during his 17 years of reign and to encourage people to try their very best during their hard times. The middle of this song was narrated and sung through using the accent of Beijing Opera. This symbolizes the tradition of China. This part of lyrics comes from the poem of Su Shi (蘇軾) . It was about having a take-it-easy attitude of life. This song not only recognizes the effort of Chongzhen, but also encourages us to try our best during hard times. Dawn will come after dark. He actually started late as a singer since he didn't picture himself as a singer though he loves singing. That's why he did cover back then, using alias name as his voice didn't change during his puberty like his male friends. Being different is still being picked-up, ZS had to face the bullies feeling insecurity even when he made his debut like sang in the public for the 1st time.
