Indeed. Some MTV level occurrence. Boiler room started it and Cercle perfected the visualisation of DJ sets. Basically they did, what MTV did for pop music, which is the idea that music necessitates a simultaneous and accompanying visual experience to reach its higher potential (not full potential cause who knows what other medium is out there).

@@habdulahsalam afaik this is actually for the uploader to decide.. and no, youtube does not "need" advertisement to make money, they make money through the whole you feeding google data system. if your argument really is "i want to give google (more) money" thats laughable. For your favorite youtubers, I can kinda understand that, although even they dont make much money off of yt ads. you should probably just paypal them or become a patron. in any case, just install an adblocker and only turn it on when you listen to mixes, that would be the middle ground
