I made mistake on directional movement on enhanced shot being lower damage 10:33, it was apparently included along in the dodge skill and i didnt increase the level. The multipliers should be the same so you can unload faster by pressing side move after 3 enhanced ether shots and it will be way faster than just standing still! (Thank you @malevolentmoose for pointing my mistake)

​@@ilis_roa I have both Ellen and Zhu Yuan, but I gotta say I still get uncomfy with ZY sometimes. I play on mobile but connects my dualshock controller, but the hold mechanic of her kit is stressing me out cause I cannot dodge without unholding the attack button (I can use the left joystick but it's still different from that separate dodge button that will allow for more precise timing). Also, gotta say that I'm still having a hard time adjusting cause I got so used to my mono ice Ellen/Lycaon/Soukaku freezing the sht out of enemies that I don't even have to dodge. 😂 Ellen is still a bit more comfy because of how cracked the ice anomaly is, in addition to stunning enemies, they can't hit you if they're frozen lmao. Thanks to ZY, I think I need to remap my controller to change the dodge button to R1/L1 instead and use the direction keys for switching characters etc. 😭

@@DumaVadamee109 Man, make sure you got the context right, cause I ain't seeing no relevant charts. The closest thing are the combo lists, but they still have nothing to do with what I was pointing out, which is that as far as I can tell, as long as your Basic Attack and Dash Attack are at the same level, individual Enhanced Shotshells will always deal the same DMG. Note: I can clearly see that different Assault Mode attacks have different multipliers and that different combos output different DPS, but that's way beside the point.

If you have the mindscape for Nicole that scales the orb duration with charge, you can use the special input as an extension to get some more time! I just used a stopwatch on my phone so it's give or take, I should really record a clip to properly time it eventually... But it seemed like tap skill was ~2.5s, charging was 3.5 ish, and you could get 4-5s by charging and then triggering the alternate to charge more Nicole can put out a surprising amount of ether by herself if you can hit something with both full charge ups and then a super buffed orb haha

I believe they will introduce an enemy with insane consecutive attacks that regular dodges won't be enough. The problem is still the same, she won't be used much on field then, it would be better if defense agent is on the field when such enemy will exist

Don't you have to take a lot more attention when and who will proc Disorder when you go for that route (because the previous effect gets removed, right?)? You need the corruption effect ready/rolling if you want to gain the additional critdmg% from the set effect, which is quite a lot. And I've heard about and seen calculations that Starlight Engine 4* (r5) is almost as good as her signature one (r1). if you are F2P you won't bother with a 5% increase from the weapon. You are probably better off spending on mindscapes instead if you want to increase her damage.

cmiiw, doesnt chaotic metal 4pcs set 20% crit damage is unconditional? only the buff on corruption damage that require the anomaly to be active. also her engine calculation might be on par but the utility makes the slight higher damage becomes way more. gaining 8 stack right away from performing ex special attack is huge

@@ilis_roa The coruption damage is exactly what I'm getting at. If you Disorder in the wrong sequence, the corruption debuff that you painfully got to work in the first place, is gone and you'll only have Zhu Yuan to re-trigger it. So she loses out on 33% critdmg. It's at least worth pointing out. Nicole seems to be so much better than Rina in this team. Not only because of that, but also because she adds +Ether% and has better DEF Shred for the burst. Overall you have much better uptime with Nicole + Zhu Yuan on that Corruption buff in general. As for the W.Engine calc. That's all taken into account. In terms of utility, M1 seems much better, especially since the quick reload effect 6+9 can stack with each other. Starlight Engine is just that good. The quick assist is realiably proc-able, especially when it matters (burst) and the proc is just great. It's not BiS, but it should be pointed out how close they are because that's not "normal" in these kind of games, so if there is a place to save on pulls (for F2P for example), it's on her weapon for sure. edit: btw, I'm just adding a perspective, I'm not saying I'm 100% correct.

main reason is that the only stun agent fit with Nicole which is zhu yuan current support, is anby. but in term of stun capabilities alone, anby ofc is still lower than the S-rank, you can use Koleda, or even Lycaon to increase the stun multiplier and they only lacking the additional ability. as for myself, i just.. dont have other stun agent lol

Shouldnt the chain sequence be Zhu yuan into nicole then skip anby (wait for the qte to end) This way you save the stun duration as it wont be consumed and do more damage (assuming enough energy and shotshells to use the window) I think you only do the full sequence if you need the assist points.

stun duration only start to decrease after last chain attack qte triggered/cancelled. you can check my previous video where i tested how the stun duration work. here i do anby at 2nd CA, it doesnt reduce stun duration

I don't understand the logic. DPS units in ZZZ are looking to always be paired with a stun unit for that nice DPS window. So how is having higher dmg during stun a downside?

@@CaCtuSnyan that is not the downside i was saying. her most unique feature is having movements that also considered dodge action, but her damage is heavily focused on stunned enemies. thus you want to put enemy on stun faster using stun agent so zhu yuan can deal massive damage faster too, which means zhu yuan will have less time on fields and makes this movements feature pretty much wasted for not being able to use much. i didnt say her damage on stun is a downside at all

Nah they actually just made such a mobile ranged dps and then locked her dmg behind having the enemy stunned... I know it cant be helped since thats how the game works, but at least a smaller buff to her dmg against non-stunned enemies would have made her much more fun 🥹

Idk if u can read but she gets a 20% dmg bonus using her enhanced shots. Additional 20% is against stunned enemies

@@moosdeboer6469 hi! Thanks for your concern, but Im in fact able to read! I know her enhanced shorts still get a dmg% buff, but its still half of what shes getting when enemies are stunned so her ottimal playstyle will be a burst dps against stunned enemies.
