It’s not systemic towards any community, in India or anywhere else in the non Islamic world. There’s a reason there’s hardly any non Muslim in Islamic nations while Muslims are present in population in a host of non Islamic nations. You can’t change human psyche and so I think there’s controlled, limited phobia against everyone in every society. And limited public display of anger, hate basis religion in most counties which aren’t Islamic. Muslim populations grow in countries which are non Islamic and it’s the reverse in yours and a lot of other nations. West Asia / Middle East and it’s conflicts - so troubled, people just living a terrible existence devoid of humanity in many cases for years. Christianity reformed itself, Judaism did, Hinduism did. Did Islam? India isn’t the problem, not more than any other country in the world, with its growth, ambitions, resolve and strides to reform the fabric of the country. The maulvis here didn’t like the removal of triple Talaq, even though maybe no Islamic country has that alive. Why such hesitation to reform? You don’t hear witch burning, heretic burning, sati, or any such ridiculous things in countries which aim to provide a good country for its citizens. No one forces anyone to go to a church or temple or gurudwara or wear anything or lead a life that’s not compatible with their beliefs, only exception is national security in countries like ours (and a lot of the developed hemisphere). Which Islamic country would you like to quote other tha the oil rich few where mum’s aren’t crying because their children are dying, women being unequal citizens, people getting tortured because they are of a different faith, LGBTQ not feeling safe? It isn’t about india or Hinduism or the west or Christianity or Israel or Judaism. The discussion is about Islam or it should be. This doesn't stop people from sitting, eating, playing and talking together. Human rights are irrespective of religion. people need a sense of purpose in their lives. especially destitute people. people who don't have much. they like to be recognized, they like to be distinguished in some way, That's why most poor people resort to a separatist side of religion. They start distinguishing themselves from the rest of the pack, this form of behaviour stems from economic and social insecurities. Like Marx said "Religion is the opium of the masses". We have a thinking in Islamic Theology, that if you don't have much in this wordly life, you will have lesser accountability in the life hereafter (an idea of minimalism). Similar ideas like these like "the world is temporary", are presented to destitute people in a tricked out way that a bigger reward lies ahead, creates a superiority complex amongst the destitute masses. I believe "poverty" to be the root cause of all the problems. Poverty coupled with these dangerously tricked out ideas of minimalism and the world being a temporary place. Poverty, makes people fragile, makes them violent, coerces them into doing things only jungle animals are capable of doing. Our people have been through a lot, since '47. Slowly and slowly, they have been desensitized of the human side. Our mental models are tremendously fucked up. Take a look at the middle east, countries that are well off. Even Indians go to middle east for work. But the law and order is great. I myself live in Saudi Arabia. Never felt more secure though I also spent 6 years in Germany. Why is it? Because, there is no hunger here, no poverty, the state (even though it is a kingdom) looks after the people. I personally have yet to see a beggar on the streets here. It all boils down to poverty. Keep them so poor and imprisoned that they think of being well off or free as an alien concept.

In this hadith the details of their crime and situation are not mentioned to be quoted or justified for mob lynching. You could have quoted the reference where Hazrat Ali (A.S.) instructed people regarding a person who made murder attempt on him. He asked people to feed him and to strike upon him the same way he struck me. Even the reference you gave mentions state (khalifah) punishing people which doesn't happen in Pakistan.
