Sarde (noun), [Sa-r-de]: A colloquial term used in the Middle East to describe the act of letting go & kicking off a stream of consciousness and a rambling narrative.

Again and again and again, the Armenians were not the only victims of the 1915-1918 Genocide committed by the Ottomans and kurds against the ethnicities that were living mostly in south east what is today Turkey in the region of Hakkari. The Assyrians الآشوريون lost over 750.000 victims as well as the Greeks, so to just mention the Armenians is a humiliation and killing over and over again of the Assyrian victims who did not get justice until today and the great grand children of the survivors of the Genocide are still suffering in north Iraq and north east Syria, wherebt they are being oppressed in order to leave their towns and lands just like in the north east of Syria (the Khaboor and Hasaka ) regions and in northern Iraq where lands are confiscated and the Assyrians do not have any recourse because the UN and international community have been and continue to ignore the Assyrian Cause

شكرًا على هذه الحلقة الرائعة. لدي ملاحظة بخصوص "ممارسة الضحية (أي ضحية الهولوكوست) فعل من اقترف بحقها الإبادة"، وهنا ينبغي أن ننتبه إلى مسألة هامة، وهي الظن بأن دولة إسرائيل هي نِتاج الهولوكوست، وهذا غير دقيق، بل بدأ تأسيسها قبل الهولوكوست بعشرات السنين، كما أن معظم من هاجروا إليها قبل الهولوكوست وبعده، بقليل أو كثير، (الروس، الإثيوبيين وغيرهم) هم من "اليهود" الذين لا علاقة لهم بالهولوكوست. وبالتالي فإن الصهاينة الذين أسسوا إسرائيل ويحكمونها لا حق لهم أساسًا في تمثيل ضحايا المحرقة والتحدث باسمهم. Thank you so much for the subtitles. As a german it is great to understand these issues from an even-tempered Palestinian standpoint. I've noticed a bias towards the Israeli cause in media and society and even a fear of speaking up for the cause of the Palestinian people. This narrative seems to change these days as the Israeli counteroffensive gets more and more brutal every day. I want to add, that what Hamas did is nontheless despicable and deserves condemnation from all sides. I hope there will be a diplomatic solution where Israelis and Palestinians can live side by side in peace one day, even if this hope seems to be far into the future for now.
