اللہ تعالیٰ ڈاکٹر صاحب کو جنت الفردوس میں اونچا مقام عطا فرمائے۔ انکی یہ تحقیق درست نہیں۔ اسمیں ایسا باور ہوتا ہے کہ علی رض کوئی کمزور آدمی تھے جو سبائی فتنے کے دباؤ میں آگئے۔ حالانکہ اصل میں تو علی رض نے خلافت راشدہ کا نظام قائم رکھنے میں سب سے زیادہ مشکلات اٹھائیں۔ اور اہل سنت بالاتفاق یہ مانتے ہیں علی رض اس فتنے کے دور میں ہر گروہ کے مقابلے میں حق کے زیادہ قریب تھے۔ اگر وہ سبائی پروپیگنڈے کے تحت یہ ساری کارروائیاں انجام دیتے تو وہ حق پر کیسے رہتے؟ بیشک اس فتنے میں حق اور باطل کو پہچاننا مشکل ہوگیا تھا اور کئی جلیل القدر صحابہ اجتہادی غلطی بھی کر بیٹھے مگر علی رض حق پر تھے جسکی تصدیق اُن روایات سے بھی ہوتی ہیں جو خلافت راشدہ کے نظام کے ۳۰ سال قائم رہنے کی ہیں۔ اور جب علی رض خلیفہ راشد تھے، جو کہ یقیناً تھے تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی حدیث میرے بعد میری سنت اور میرے خلفاء راشدین کی سنت کو تھامے رکھنا کی روح سے انکا عمل درست ثابت ہوتا ہے اسے سبائی پروپیگنڈے کہہ کر ہوا میں اڑا دینا درست نہیں۔ واللہ اعلم۔ اللہم صلی علی محمد و علی آلہ و اصحابہ اجمعین۔

کس نے کسکو قتل کیا اور کون سچا تھا اور کون جھوٹا، یہ تو اُس وقت کے سچے لوگ ہی بتا سکتے ہیں مگر جو سب سے اہم نکتہ ہے وہ یہ ہے کہ آپس میں لڑنے والے مسلمان تھے۔ وجہ یہی تھی کہ معافی اور درگزر نہی کیا۔ سازشوں میں آگۓ۔ تو اب بھی وقت ہے اس بات کو سمجھنے کا۔ اور ایسا دوبارہ نہ ہو اس کے لیے کوشش کریں۔
