Zico been there for ages producing and rapping he originally an underground rapper and was also in Block b early 2000s which is honestly for a lot of OG we know block b and bap were literally what inspired most of the songs from bts around debut it was literally the same ( they still made it good) but newer fans never recognized this ! Zico and Rm are also actually friends and known each other since underground rapping. Zico is super highly popular in Korea due to the fact that he was one of the first underground rapper going to kpop but still maintaining his rapper image and credibility. He also been producing for maaaaany people too. You mentioned hearing Zico from tik tok I think he was the one that popularized the trends of doing a tik tok dance for his songs in Korea.

Zico is awesome. Tough cookie was the very first song of his I heard.
