Zizou's reunion with his Italian friends and foes after beating them in finals of Euro 2000...and a game to welcome Trezeguet to Italy after his dramatic golden goal defeated Italy in the final. The fans cheering Zizou's penalty miss must have been thinking: " why couldn't he have missed that penalty against Portugal in the semi final so that we could've avoided him and France in the final" 🙂

Never mind the fact that Zidane missed (one of the very few that I know of) but note that almost all Zidane pk's went to the keeper's right and yet so many keepers dove to their left when facing him; that includes that Euro '00 game against Portugal, France '98 vs Italy, Euro '04 vs England, etc. Buffon finally went the right way only for Zidane to chip him in the World Cup final -- unbelievable.
