This team played some great football for most of that season. Exciting attacking football...perhaps the best football of the galactico era...and that long diagonal pass from Beckham to Zidane was a feature of the team's attack 5:14. Beckham from deep right always made that switch to Zizou out left. This goal is a beautiful marriage of Beckham's passing ability and Zizou's technique. Brilliant!

@@dellkuy4002 you are correct. There was so much focus on Beckham as a glamorous marketing commodity that sometimes people seemed to forget that he was a really good footballer. One of the best passers and crossers of the ball I have seen. He was my 2nd favorite player after Zidane.

Zizou was right-footed but his best goals were scored with his left foot...imagine that!
