For everyone who “doesn’t get it”....this video shows what an Olympic level shooter sees through his/her peep. If you do shoot open sight rifle, this is the goal. I only wish I could hold that still. At 10m, my aiming ring on the front sight sweeps through the whole target. My best score out of 10 shots (whole number scoring) is 71. Granted, my rifle is a 1962 Walther LG55 springer, and I don’t use a glove or shooting suit, so there is that. But still, I would love to hold steady.

Shooting suit controls your movement a lot

Shooting suit is essential to get a score higher than 90 tbh. Never been Shooting without one for 10 years now

In the military we are taught to use focus on the target then front sight post. With air rifles I’m having a hard time breaking that habit. So we focus on the ring around the target??

If u doesn't find about it yet, this video is about air rifle shooting or something like that in olympic(just find "air rifle shooting olympic"). This view is what u see when u about to hit the target that small as pinky finger nail through the scope. Its like a simulation.
