i felt so bad for maya during her “worried about miles” face. and miles was a jerk about it, too. i mean, maya’s last boyfriend broke up with her by committing suicide and it’s traumatized her so much that she, to this day, worried about the people she cares about killing themselves

That's right. Cause the two of them could have been something even though it wouldn't have lasted. They would have brought out the worst in each other and eventually broke up. But no. Zoe always liked girls and only girls. All the guys she was ever with,she was only with them for superficial reasons that have nothing to do with love or physical attraction. For validation, for attention and popularity or because she was using them to get something. She has never truly felt physical or emotional attraction to any guy. Grace and Rasha are the only 2 people she felt that for.
