Well he died in 2008 if I recall, and had memory impairment from strokes. So at least before then. I'm guessing the most likely timeframe is 1990s

That’s interesting you say that. Because I’ve listened to zig for years... and I found that to be true also. He does have a good message. But the way he delivers it, is irritating and fake. People would think the same of me. If I’ve been listening to zig for to long.
