Bro you cant tell Bob's life an legacy in just a movie, we need a whole netflix series starting from when his dad meet his mom, that would be a hit series.

@blulion7834 you must be joking?!?
@DaveG4253 ай бұрын
All the talk bout it should have been a Jamaican playing him but there’s not a lot of actors in Jamaica that could have pulled it off and actually ACTED. Also, the skin tone had to be the same. Bob was not dark skinned at all.

Most of you people don't even know the true Bob Marley I was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica went to school in Trench Town hang out in Trench Town grew up seeing Bob, Peter and Bunny wailer I just hate to hear when these so-called Jamaicans come on social media and making bs comments of things they know nothing about You so-called Jamaicans are so excited about America and the UK 🇬🇧 always believe that they can do everything better than the people of Jamaica 🇯🇲 I guarantee if the athletes from Jamaica didn't show the world how great they're against the so-called developing countries you all would be saying that they will never find any good track and field athletes in Jamaica This so-called Bob Marley OneLove movie doesn't even tells the truth its truth to those who knows nothing about Bob Marley

I didn’t realize this movie would be about his life, I thought it was going to be all about his life of music 🎶🎼🎵. The productivity was a Masterpiece, I truly marveled over his life and talent ! Congratulations 🎊🎈🎉 to his son Ziggy for not only producing Bobs life to the world, but telling the truth about his achievements and legacy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜 All actors and actresses were amazing true to the story. Feeling totally Jamaican 🇯🇲,growing up in those times in Kingston was absolutely fabulous for me and many others including the Gong . We still cannot fully describe the vibes but Jamaica was different then . Always knew that the Wailers were a special group then , so us uptowners made sure the music and the messages were accepted without apology .One Love is how we lived then regardless of who you were and what you had materially. ❤🇯🇲.

I have seen the movie twice and it is very good! His music is played throughout the film, Kinglsey and Lashana Lynch did a fantastic job of portraying Bob and Rita's relationship on an emotional level; Seeing it more than once I got a better understanding of the the Patios language, his life in Jamaica before exile in London. Many of his songs sends a powerful message that still rings true in 2024 across the world.

To truly capture the life of Bob on film, it would take at least 4 hours. I enjoyed the movie. I cried. My 10 year old daughter cried. But so much was left out. Anyway, the movie is a great success. More people are exposed to Rastafari, reggae music and Caribbean ganja culture. Imagine how different the world would be if Bob was still here. Smh

Love you Gail and Charles, but do your research on this legend pre interview. Bob Marley is (IMO) on the same parallel as Ghandi, Mother Theresa, MLK. He was more than just a musician and had a profound impact on the world. Doing that research would have resulted in more substantive questions.

I love how he kept seeing silhouette images of the captain as he was a child and then u see a face of the man on horseback. It revealed who Bob took as his father throughout his life, but I won't give that away. He was a remarkable man, and I've surrounded my own life in Christ, Bob Marley, and Jimmy Buffett. He's been a HUGE part of my life, and though it seemed rushed with lots of details missing, I DID enjoy the film. I'll be buying it once it's on Blu-ray.
