Good review. Please do make a comparison between RE Classic 350 and this one and let us know which is better and sensible buy. Please do mention about vibration because it's main competitor, the RE has that issue and is the major reason of me hating the engine on the RE. Also is the tyre tubeless?because the ones on the bullet isn't as of what i remember. On the basis of looks anytime this one is better than the RE, butts the dials are too retro and yes they look really tacky. Rear drum won't be an issue according to me because this bike is not made for high speeds and the front disc with ABS will be enough to give it the required braking performance (usage of front brake while emergency braking only makes sense because of weight tranfer, the rear wheel anyways locksup). Just giving rear disc with no proper reasoning and this increasing price doesn't make any sense. Overall I think it is a good first attempt and a very credible alternative to the regular boring RE classic's. (But the carburator setup on the BULLET 350 and the easy mechanicals would make it more of a choice for the ladak and similar trip seekers due to easy maintenance, I guess!)

You got the last part wrong..fi is the best for ladahk..Please don't mention RE500 fi which is unreliable. FI of every other motorcycle are very much reliable and hardly needs any maintenance. Except for throttle body cleaning every 20k Kms..it hardly needs any maintenance.

When mentioning about Wheeels,Few Ideal Jawa ( old generation) riders used to fix a spare wheel at the same place of the radiator in this new Jawa and most importantly every gear step had neautral position,just a longer push will take you to neautral-so no countdown.

I want to buy a sub 2 Lakh bike, but I am confused between JAWA 42 , Classic 350 ABS , & Dominor 2019 Few points that might help u answering the question:- Need a bike with good presence on road I am not a racer, I usually ride in a range of 50-90 Kmph Confused:- I like JAWA 42 but it has comparatively less service centers Dominor looks more like a sporty bike than a comfort oriented or maybe a tourer Classic 350 ABS has a nice name, but does it really justify the price ?? Questions- 1- Which one would you recommend out of the 3 ? 2- Speaking of Classic or Retro bikes Is Classic 350 ABS really worth the price, as I am considering to buy that. I like Karthik's style and pragmatic review. He has taken the review away from the company scripted talk ( unlike most other reviews) and is more grounded and practical. Good Job Karthik!! When it comes to real road performance, there are few points, Karthik has hinted: 1. New Jawa will not be as nimble as the old jawa in short city rides. The older Jawa has shorter wheelbase, 16" wheels, long stroke engine, which gave the bike the power to pull off in city with ease. 2. Original Jawa was not much of a touring bike, though folks like Deepak Kamath had done a world tour and was mostly a city bike. The New Jawa is also a urban city bike - not much of a tourer (like Mojo). 3. Original Jawa has lots of innovation. The new Jawa misses out on those - as those innovations are no longer relevant - which is a good thing, and lot of work has gone to make the new Jawa have a classic look - all metal and durable, high endurance bike. 4. Orginal Jawa had a short length seat - i.e., pillion space was quite limited, and the new Jawa also has taken the same path. So the pillion rider will have to cling on tightly to the rider. 5. New Jawa is all about style. This new bike is definitely a neck turner. No matter where you take it, it will get a lot of attention.

Jawa Classic is very comfortable for long rides as well as for city commute.. and jawa 42 is best for city commute because jawa 42 comes with a upright position handle bar...both are best .. it depends on you if you like more retro looking bike( jawa classic) or a modern looking bike(jawa 42)
