my favorite parts to watch are when you glue the small pieces together in fast motion, and when you first start cutting the rough block to get it rounded. of course the cream on top is when you apply the bee/wood wax .thank you for posting your hard work!!

The most intriguing part of your project for me is how you proceed in developing every single step of preparation (cutting, measuring appropriate angles, glueing, cutting again etc. ) to achieve the intended 3D design. Mindboggling work. And in watching your work all this looks so easy... As always - a fascinating creation 💚!

I enjoy watching you all make the things you do. I have been trying to make a segment bowl and it's not quite as easy as you make it seem. What is the secret of the design to get it done with no gaps in the seams? Please let me know.

@@mayukowoodturning7644 I do have an interesting idea for a project, an upright double bowl. Wider at bottom supported in the center to smaller bowl at top. With your skills and imagination, I'd bet you could come up with a very interesting, desirable piece.

@@TaneKarnes Does it use the middle pole as a support for the upper bowl and lower bowl?
@TaneKarnes9 ай бұрын
@@mayukowoodturning7644 yes. The 2 tiers could alternate in design or color. I'm a huge fan of flow, energy and beauty.

Thank you, that's very good input, but sometimes I just make a design on a piece of scribbled paper and when I edit the video I forget the size of the wood I used, maybe in the future I will also write down each size of wood I used

It’s a beautiful project. But if I could suggest…. The segment that is slightly shorter where you parted off the top slightly bothers my OCD. If you had arranged the part-off to take an equal amount from the very tip of where two segments joined together, and then left a lip of the dark wood that equalled the thickness of your part-off tool, you would eliminate that ‘slightly off’ that catches the eye.
