Review of the Ziigaat Doscinco. I love it!
Great bass, yet well balanced. Deals well with spicy/harsh/sibilant tracks too. Comfortable fit, great cable, quality build and pretty. One of the best, and favourite, IEMs that I have heard. At a decent price too.
Trust only your own ears and listen to IEMs. Graphs nor reviews/reviewers can tell you how an IEM will sound to you. A graph is only a visual representation of EQ, measured by a machine.

The Doscincos are the new GOATs under $400. The bass is amazing in every aspect and the overall tuning is pretty much perfect for me. It is end game bass at their price and beyond. For reference I own the Bravado mkII, Scarlet Mini, OH10 and others. If you don’t want club like deep bass go for the brother iem Cincotres. Has a little bit of a mid bass tuck for those that want a cleaner ride to the mids and a drop more presence at 3k. the Symphonium Meteors and Doscincos are all I put in my ears now.

@@CesarGonzalez-mx7su No, they’re the same iems that are just tuned slightly different. You can eq them to each other. I feel it would be a waste of money. Get something different. I’m eyeing the upcoming 7Hz Aurora (unique driver make up) and Timeless2 which is supposed to be a bassy beast for a planar.

You are 100pct right about graph , I have said this to myself years ago. Obviously if you take 2 iem different brands same price , and on the graph it's the exact lines , but when you actually listen , there is no doubt one will sound better than the other .

Love the doscincos! These are a great edc iem, sounds so good for metal/rock and especially hiphop! I’m sure jazz and classical are great too. Fantastic bass, no midbass tuck clean mids and highs good detail and has a fairly decent soundstage.

I was left unimpressed of ea500lm BASS. I mean it's there but no overall warmth because of the treble brightness. I now putting my attention either on HYPE4 or the Doscincos. Lets see...

The Doscinco is amazing but the Simgot EA500LM is also great!! It has great tactility from the bass to the treble EA500LM is most comfortable iem ever, the nose is short and it doesn’t loose bass if is not fit properly I really recommend

I think a big part of using reviews is trying to figure out how a reviewers tastes differ from your own, though maybe thats not always understood by people. But also it's tough to do without a common point of reference. So in the end it's still ends up being you have to hear them AND decide for yourself as you are saying. That said I think I do follow a few reviewers who usually say listen to them for yourself. That said, you have got me curious about the JD7 and FH3!

Really enjoyed this review. Lots of sets I have been looking at. Have you ever listened to the Dunu Falcon Ultra? That is one on my shortlist and seem to have similar bass with better clarity and tonality compared to JD7 (with much better accessories and packaging)

I have the falcon ultra, it’s a warm leaning u shaped iem. The bass is tactile, but not overbearing. Very clean mids and highs and pretty detailed for a single dd iem in this price. You can tell the dd is of a high quality. I think I like the doscinco more though, they are extremely musical. Both iems are fantastic.

@@Hijynx87 Thanks for the feedback! Do you get more impactful bass and sub buss on the Doscinco? It seems like the driver setup would produce that kind of difference. I would consider a 20-50HZ EQ on the Falcon but can't find an EQ for Android to do that with.

nice comparison with the other iems, this is a great example that beyond 300-500$ diminishing returns hit hard, dont the bass on Doscinco become too much or boomy?

For me no. I think their bass is well done. Some will find it too much though. Depends on individual preference.

No the bass isn’t overpowering the mids or highs. There is a slight dip around 300hz after the midbass and then flat mids like a Thieaudio.

Are those azla crystal tips or feaule h570? I’ve got the h570 on mine, it works extremely well, the crystals are pretty similar but a bit thicker.

Agree about the graphs. I have no idea how reviewers who basically review a fr graph are so popular

They're popular because viewers can look at a graph, see how a iem is tuned and know right away if that iem is for them because they like iem's tuned a certain way. And every reviewer I know that uses graphs also tells the viewer how a iem sounds, how it compares to others tuned like it and how it compares to other iems in it's price bracket.

those senn drivers are just too small for good quality + big bass. the smaller the DD the closer it gets to a BA in bass satisfaction

It's a crude equivalence, but yeah, more or less. Real phat, effortlessly deep dense bass is only achieved with large areas moving.

That makes sense but the Fiio JD7 is also a single dynamic driver IEM and has better bass than the IE600.

The Sennheiser's are good, I was just a bit underwhelmed after hearing their bass get praised repeatedly. They have decent bass, I've just heard better. @@jeffrose61
