The last raid they tried doing that for was CPIT and it was genuinely awful. Game is too big unfortunately

​@@CalvinAwesomeas a somewhat new mid game player, its kinda pain in the ass to keep up with minimum raid requirement while also developing your own progression target but understandable i just wish they allow most character to participate but give the roster intended for the raid some massive buff so at least i can just throw my best character at the raid so i can contribute to the guild raid without slowing down my roster building progression

I'm fine with restricted units, but feel like they should make mercs or BHs able to fight in all raids...it would make sense and give everyone a team so they're not having to change grinds when there is a new raid.

I'd be okay with restricted rosters, but wish they cycled through raids every week. It would make old teams still useful, plus doing the same raid over and over is extremely boring.

I’ve always wanted a zillo beast raid, ever since the Krayt dragon. Jmk I think would be a good option. also Death Star raid with space battles and ground battles (that you can actually play) would be awesome and makes sense

Not directly referring to the subject at hand, but I like thinking of the Marauder as the lifter for Bad Batch. Doesn't directly lift the team, but does increase their relevance. Whether on purpose or not, I do like the concept of indirectly increasing relevance rather than increasing a team directly.

In some ways it's the opposite. A peridia raid would mean 3+ months to get all the characters, a bad batch raid would mean one of the teams is P2P locked for half the raid life

I feel Peridea aligns better with how raids have been lately (endor, naboo) having a wave system and Leia was used on the raid and her team didnt have a raid omicron either right? There was the scout trooper but that isn't part of Leia. It's a neat idea but I feel it would be a bit too out of the blue.

Glad you’re talking about this. Peridia raid just feels off right now. Timing is off, all requirements would be brand new stuff, all marquees are needed at R7 to begin with… it just doesn’t make sense

Well thought out video, Calvin. I wonder if the GAS lightspeed bundle discount code also lines up with theory. They want players to have GAS by the time they announce a new Zillo raid. Or it's just a coincidence. I think CG tends to give out discounts with a specific purpose in mind, not out of the goodness of their hearts.

I tried to leave the LSB speculation out of it because it pretty well defends both raid concepts. We have FO/GAS recently for BB and Merc/IR (kind of) for Peridia

i'm not sure this is it. but i def have been saying for a while that GL Ahsoka and co will not be for the next raid. they haven't really set precedent for it. However, we do have the GL Thrawn leak, and i could easily see them making that happen in a later (Q2) timeframe for 2025 as well to serve as a consolation prize for ppl who take the IR zombies to R9.

Alright, lets assume this happens and that they would want Delta squad but that there would be a problem with the deadline for when they would be out compared with when the raid starts. By the kindness of CG's heart and because they felt the belonged together, the droids BT-1 and 0-0-0 was made into one marquee week. They will give us something like that in order to sell them to more people as needed for the raid. Personally I don't think they will see a issue with delay to the degree they wouldn't put them into the raid. But if they did, a two toon marquee is how I would see them doing it.

Wasnt it mentioned that Vader also fought the Zillo beast in that same comic you were referring to about kylo ren fighting it, this would make it very likely that we could get Vader as a part of that empire team that u mentioned. This would also probably also be a smart move from CG since vader is a very f2p friendly character that most players have reliced which could reduce the backlash from making the raid marquee intensive / including hard farms like GAS

During a battle between the Galactic Empire and the Benathy, Darth Vader was unable to defeat the creature", im not 100% sure if this is in the same comic since i havent personally read it, but there are plenty of youtube videos covering it so its defenitively a thing that happend in the comics

But even he could not stand against our god" and the god mentioned is quite clearly referring to the zillo beast. And before that sentence he also describes vader so he def wasnt referring to Anakin

Nice try. But the last raid was only 5/6 months Long… and this one as well. We will get the new raid in february with Baylan Event coming back in feb as well(Like Gungans). Gonna be spectre(glat), baylan, nightsisters(i think Both Teams!), IR+ maybe Both IR Teams or a Thrawn Empire Team.

I did not know what a Zillo Beats Is… and I have not seen wokesoka series but cannot avoid knowing what Peridea is… just an example of what an average? player may or may not know… In my opinion, the most expensive GL ever will be milked for several extra months if they give her a raid too. I think they will go with Peridea and further separate players who spend in the latest content from other low spending or f2p customers. CG will try to increase that separation with every single new feature. They already pushed that after the last update… Best regards🎉
