The oral music traditions of the people of the Thar Desert have a vibrant and rich history. This recording of a special all night session after the concert at the Saptak festival in the quiet of the Indian night with Sense producer Derek Roberts is possibly one of the best recorded works of these superb musicians from the region. Full of passion and soul, the recording also conjures up the feelings of freedom, joy, energy and power symbolised in the Laggar Falcons of the Thar desert .

Unfortunately lyrics are not available for most of Rajasthani Langa songs due to the fact that most of these songs are sung by different artists with slight variations in lyrics and their own style. Altho one thing I could suggest you is you can find other and some good versions of this song on Spotify/ google play music etc with almost same name - Jhirmir Barse (megh/ meh ). I could try to try to provide lyrics but it is a bit hectic and time-consuming, probably someday when I get some free time on my hand. Thanks for showing your support toward Rajasthani songs and culture in general :)
