Zimbabwe's political opposition has lost a towering figure with the death of Morgan Tsvangirai.
He founded the Movement for Democratic Change, and became a symbol of resistance against former President Robert Mugabe, with whom he briefly shared power.
Tsvangirai was being treated for colon cancer in neighbouring South Africa.
