Originally Babirwa breed originating from the confluence of shashi, Motlautsi and Tuli rivers. Babirwa people are found in three countries SA, Bots and Zim. Iam Smith was the greatest fan of Tuli breed he set up center in the late 1960s in Babirwa speaking people in Rhodesia to study and develop the breed in Guyu.

very educative i have learnt a lot of valuable lessons and guidelines as i dream of establishing a cattle ranch one day, but i hoped you would ask alot of questions on the bull to female ratio and how do they manage keep the bull in peace without fighting

Which male , strong bull 'bhuru' would not like to be provided for himself alone 25-30 females who lived in separation from males and now mature, during mating season once a year. A Human 'bull' man can probably not even manage 4 or 5 of us girls . Plus we will start back bitting and fighting each other for our chances of getting mated and fertilised during that 1-2 months period of time we have a male around on our side of the farm.
