ZIMBABWE : WE WALKED WITH AFRICAN ELEPHANTS || Antelope Park in Zimbabwe.

We took a City Link bus from Harare to Gweru where Willem picked us up and took us to his home, Antelope Park. What an incredible week we had making new friends and so many amazing memories. We met Buckbeak the rescue secretary bird, walked with 4 beautiful elephants, watched the lion feeds and went on horseback safaris getting super close to Zebra, impala and wildebeest. We had the best time, it was hard to leave.

I grew up ànd went to sch in this little town called Gweru. We stayed very close to the Antelope Park and at night would hear the lions roar. I used to run every morning to on the dust road all the way to the Antelope park main gate. We were so poor but gosh, those were the best days of my life and I miss that place so dearly it makes me want to cry.
